Bob Seger "Get Out of Denver" Gun Men's T-Shirt
Bob Seger pretty much rocks everything, but one of his best songs ever was "Get Out of Denver"!!
It sounds just like crime on the radio... the speed of the track, the hyped up lyrics dealing with drugs and running, and the jams!! WHOOWEEE! I don't care who you are, this Seger track kicks all kinds of ass! Makes you punks wanna go out and get yourself a handgun like a 38 special and hit the ground running!!
Haha, alright maybe that's comin' on a bit heavy... but this track is heavy man, heavy like Led! Being a big Elvis Presley fan, Bob Seger had some seriously vintage blues rockers back in the day... tracks like Lucifer and this one just smoke, fella!!
Yeah, it's true... just like 38 Special, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band slowed their ways in the later years... but even the newer LP's like "Night Moves" and the unforgettable "Against The Wind" are solid AOR! Hell, the latter was the album that finally knocked Pink Floyd's "The Wall" from the Number One position on the billboard 200 charts... that speaks volumes to it's quality... not only a Number 1 hit, but it pushed "The Wall" aside!!
The Bob Seger (System) is a detroit rock city brother, so he's in the same local garage rock lineage as many other Detroit hard rock heroes (in no particular order): MC5, Iggy and The Stooges, Mitch Ryder, Cactus, The Frost, Alice Cooper's Nightmare, Ted Nugent, Grand Funk Railroad, Glen Fry of The Eagles and the amazingly underground political guitar jam rockers Frijid Pink... just to name a handful off the top of my head!!
Even the excellent "CREEM" magazine was realized in Detroit due to the intense amount of excellent rock music blazing forth every night in the clubs and venues... this magazine is known to have actually coined the terms "punk rock" and "heavy metal", it also spawned some historically famous gonzo journalists such as Cameron Crowe and the infamous Lester Bangs, who is often cited as America's Greatest Rock Critic!
So that should give you an idea who Bob Seger is... and this gun t-shirt is for all you badass rock music junkies out there, and especially for you rockers that have "Get Outta Denver" cranked to 11 (ELEVEN) on your car stereo every Saturday night!! As we like to say around here...
