The Exploited "Punks Not Dead" Oi! Men's T-Shirt

Man, growing up we rocked the HELL out of some Exploited tunes... who knew Scotland had that kinda rage! And that's why we're bringing you this obscure hardcore Oi! t-shirt, with a heavy accent on our favorite Exploited track: Sex & Violence! The brutal simplicity, yet total vulgarity of this song always freaked me out... it's f*cking musical genius!!

I mean, many of you may only know The Exploited by their recent music... but those early days before bands like Rancid (R.I.P. Operation Ivy) and Green Day "stool softened" the scene up for public consumption... Punk rock was still a force to be reckoned with, coming from a strong political background filled with angst, rage, contempt and disgust with the sorry state of current affairs!

If you were a skater and some punk rock music caught your ear back then, it was easy to get consumed by the crust and crass of the hardcore punk scene... before you knew it, you waged war on the planet... growing out your 4 foot red-and-black mohawk, wearing knee-high oxblood rangers (or Doc Martin combat boots) with colored stitching and laces that expressed your political style to other punks and skins, grabbing that old heavy metal leather jacket and spiking up the shoulders , hanging some chains, then painting a ton of band names all over, like Neurosis, Doom, Nausea, Sub-Hum-Ans, The Exploited, GG Allin, Charged GBH, Corrosion of Conformity, Dead Kennedys and even some Bad Brains and Beastie Boys, depending on how much skatepunk you still had in you!

But at the very forefront of the anarchist punk movement, that's where Wattie Buchan and The Exploited stood... coining the timeless mantra: Punks Not Dead! It's Exploited! This was a crusty war cry, the battle hardened mission statement of a youth generation that was fed up with the idea that punk rock (and society in general) was for sale.

So the punk rock made some noise, brought some Anarchy to the brain-dead zombie population of the TV addicted world... and we're just trying to do the same here, put some thrash metal back on your chest and get your parents scared again... besides, you know an obscure Oi! t-shirt like this is bound to disappear sooner than later... just like all good things.
