HP Lovecraft "Re-Animator" Cult Movie Men's T-Shirt

Epic horror writer H.P. Lovecraft created one of the creepiest and most weird pulp fiction stories ever made with Herbert West: ReAnimator... so it shouldn't be any surprise that the book was adapted into a horror movie which was adapted into a Lovecraft t-shirt (that only a ghoul could love)!

Enter Dr. Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs)... mad-scientist extraordinaire... graduate of Miskatonic University... Dr. West has created a "reagent" that is capable of resurrecting the dead. Unfortunately, he's only able to bring them back to life as violent flesh-eating zombies... of which he does to various people in his immediate presence. This leads to a plethora of sacrilegious circumstances involving so many dead people... even the Elder Gods would sit up and take notice!

Who the hell are the Elder Gods? you ask...

The Great Old Ones are the giant rulers of the cosmic universe, as described by Lovecraft in a variety of his horrific tales known as the Cthulhu Mythos... by name they are:

- Cthulhu
- Ithaqua
- Shub-Niggurath
- Y'golonac
- Dagon
- Azathoth
- Nyarlathotep
- Yog-Sothoth

The Mythos are considered classic Lovecraftian horror... their legacy reaches through hundreds of years of text to the point where the line between reality and fantasy has been blurred... with relatively current books such as the Necronomicon (written by Abdul Alhazred, The Mad Arab) one might be led to believe that these enormous cosmic beings are in fact real... while you can catch a glimpse of them in the action horror movie "Hellboy"... as the Unnameable are awakened From Beyond and begin to reach their gigantic tentacles down towards the earth to reclaim their rightful place as the master of the universe... at the mountains of madness.

Whether these supernatural, all-powerful members of the Dunwich underworld are real or simply of pure tale... that doesn't detract from the long line of HP Lovecraft film adaptations that have captured the minds of so many who would face The Thing That Should Not Be (even Metallica contributes their honor to the legacy)... you are not alone!
