True Romance "Suicide Lovers" Movie Men's T-Shirt

Yeah, we know they don't die at the end... but we thought this t-shirt still conveyed the common essence. Besides, if you're into the romantic/suicide sentiment... as we are... then you can wear this cute ( dark? ) shirt without telling anyone it's movie inspired.

Wait, did someone say MOVIE? Hell yeah...

True Romance was Quentin Tarantinos first script, he hoped to direct but ended up selling it... thank god director Tony Scott (The Hunger, Top Gun, Last Boy Scout), who happens to be Ridley Scott's brother (Alien, Blade Runner, Legend, Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down - to name a few), did an excellent job of bringing the (unknown) Tarantino vision to life. This picture is like an unofficial blueprint of his infamous films to come (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers [writer], Kill Bill, Grindhouse, Inglourious Basterds).

And what a blueprint it is... in true Tarantino fashion, they assembled an amazing all-star cast to play some of the most despicable (read: awesome) cult movies roles: Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, Samuel L. Jackson, James Gandolfini, Victor Argo, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore - and that's just the short list of brand names in this movie, there's actually even more you'd recognize!! Amazing.

By itself, Brad Pitt's stoner role (honey bear bong!) is worth the price of admission... but Christopher Walken facing off against Dennis Hopper in the interrogation (The Sicilian) scene is 100% movie magic, one of many unsettling Walken speeches in the years to come (Pulp Fiction, The Prophecy and Man on Fire to name a few). This is pure cult fiction.
