Naked Lunch "Interzone Typewriter" Movie Mens and Womens T-Shirt
We know there's some writers out there who will love this Typewriter t-shirt... the film Naked Lunch wasn't a direct adaptation of William S. Burroughs book of the same name, but that doesn't change the nature of the text, this is simply one of the coolest "writing" films ever made.
Beyond that, it's also one of the weirdest movies ever put to film (and one of the weirdest designs ever put onto t-shirts!)... this is all thanks to one of the founding members of the Beat Generation, Bill Burroughs, who had a long-standing history as an intelligent junkie, exploring the darker side of life. If you haven't read his other works (Junkie, Queer, The Soft Machine, Cities of the Red Night, and many more) you could be considered lucky... even if you fancy yourself well-versed in the debauchery of life, Burroughs truly has a way of getting under your skin.
On the flipside of the coin, David Cronenberg also has that uncanny ability to mix sci-fi with deep emotional exploration... which made him the perfect film maker for Naked Lunch. If you haven't already seen Scanners, Videodrome, The Fly, Crash, eXistenZ and A History of Violence... you really need to binge-watch these movies, which are just his most recognized films. He has many more lesser known horror and science fiction movies that complete his filmography.
Cronenberg is one of our favorite movie directors, his work is astonishingly unusual with exceptionally high quality... which is rare in movies these days. William Burroughs is a master author of the strange, weird and depreciated... which is likely a difficult title to hold onto in the competitive world of fiction writing.
Author, writer or just a movie fan... we suggest you buy this shirt right now, before you never see it again. T-shirt designs like this don't stick around forever, and since it's a fairly generic (or "inside") theme, you can wear this tshirt anywhere and just wait for the people who know what it means to come up and ask you where you got it from... Rock on...
