Judas Priest "Green Manalishi" Rock Women's T Shirt

Have we got a rock'n'roll tale for you... Judas Priest made this jam metal, The Melvins made it sludge, and Corrosion of Conformity made it punk... but the roots of Green Manalishi are deep in the purple haze of narco-dream sequences from Fleetwood Mac founder Peter Green... yeah, seriously!

So the story goes... Green, heavily f'd up on a variety of the 60's favorite pastimes, left him in a heavy stupor at la-la-land... during this gargantuan nod, the entire song rushed to his psyche and demanded he create it... he recalls a green dog barking incessantly at him (on a side note, the serial killer 'Son of Sam' had a very similar experience)... waking him from his foggy dreamscape, he thinks it was the devil representing the evils of money... having risen to the top of the blues-rock scene of the late 60's, money was certainly the enabler... that eventually landed Green on the streets as this message led to him leaving the successful rock group he started.

So we see the Green Manalishi with the Two Pronged Crown as the devil himself, advising us to watch our vices... or else they just may come back to haunt you! Fleetwood Mac may be one of the greatest rock bands of all time, but without Green, something was always missing... much like Pink Floyd and their Missing friend... a classic, to be sure!
