We all know-and-love our main british spy, James Bond 007 (from Ian Fleming's infamous novels)... but do you really want to wear some lame-ass James Bond t-shirt that looks more like an advertisement for the most recent film?
We didn't think so.
So, we're here to make James Bond cool enough to wear on a tshirt... because y'know, the man is a veritable legend. He's smooth baby, so smooth... I swear, when he pats a women on the head, her pants fall down! And y'know why? ... because women can smell "spy" a mile away!
For real tho, the trippy intros of the early James Bond movies was simply the coolest thing I'd ever seen in a blockbuster film... whether you're a head or not, everyone loves to watch a good psychedelic collage in full color... especially when it's done by professionals with big budgets... there's something about body paint, kaleidoscopes, swirling ink in water, and the silhouettes of shapely women sitting in over-sized martini glasses with handguns... it's just so mesmerizing!
So that's obviously where the inspiration for this 007 spy tee shirt came from, we wanted to capture the feeling of the opening credits from those awesome Sean Connery and Roger Moore films... think:
- Dr. No, From Russia with Love
- Goldfinger (remember Oddjob and his ninja-star bowler hat!)
- Diamonds are Forever (the giant "Laser")
- Live and Let Die
- The Man with The Golden Gun (Tattoo the midget from Fantasy Island, he's on the shirt!)
- The Spy Who Loved Me (JAWS metal teeth!)
- For Your Eyes Only
- You Only Live Twice (Blofield = Dr. Evil!!!)
Phew, that's a serious list of cult spy movies... and that's only the first (and best) half of the Bond franchise!
Guns, gambling, girls, and gadgets... that's what Bond is about, and that's what we tried to capture with this awesome retro 007 tee shirt. So grab one of these cult movie t-shirts before they're gone, because an under-the-radar (no pun intended!) obscurity like this will disappear and be held hostage on eBay before you know it! Any memorabilia collector, rock-and-roller or fashion punk even remotely intrigued by spy movies (and suave cool psychedelia) will appreciate this shirt... so rock it out man!!
Or should I say... Shaken, Not Stirred.
