Rob Zombie has been kicking ass since the dawn of modern metal... well, the dawn of MTV music television anyway... I remember when he hosted an evening of the Headbangers Ball... even back then, the guy HAND-PAINTED the studio, just for his hosting special... that's like having the guests on Conan O'Brien decorate the studio before they do the show... it's not practical, not usual, not done!!!
Rob Zombie is a creative madman... starting out cool-as-hell with his horror movie / comic book inspired band "White Zombie"... he then evolved into a solo act, which was relatively derivative of his previous band, still with plenty of unique ideas and a penchant for the grotesque.
But then, things began to get serious, when Rob was publicly caught acting-out his own little Texas Chainsaw Massacre, nakedly robbing graves and eating the rotting corp... oh, what? that never made the news? Oh, ha... just kidding.
What I was saying was, things got serious when this creative madman decided to pick up a video camera and actually make some serious horror movies... and I'm not talking about SAW here, I mean serious horror... the kind of film that makes you question your life on the way home from the theater.
Between his junior masterpiece "House of a 1000 Corpses"... along to his brilliantly vile "The Devils Rejects"... then of course his multiple forays into the heinous "Halloween" movie franchise... and now, his soon-to-be cult classic opus "Tyrannosaurus Rex"... the Zombie has proven he's even more skilled at making movies, than he is at drawing and making music!
So for all the old White Zombie fans who miss the original style, we've got this obscure (trick or) treat for you... a ridiculously impossible to find drum-head t-shirt design, with a focus on the greatest White Zombie song ever created... Psychoholic Slag!
It's only here, because you can't get it anywhere else... viva Zombie!!
